This camp is by invitation only. This camp is mandatory for brass performers with a contract.
If you checked out a horn at the January Camp, please be sure to bring your instrument with you to the March Camp. Horns will be available for check-out after the March Brass Camp. Please remember that if you check out a horn, it’s your responsibility to make sure it gets back to Bluecoats for the April Rehearsal Camp and the beginning of Spring Training.
HOUSING AND ACCOMMODATIONS
Bluecoats provides housing (overnight Friday and Saturday), meals, and ground transportation to students during the March Brass Rehearsal Camp. We recommend eating a meal before you arrive.
You will need to bring sleeping gear (air mattress, sleeping bag w/ ground pad, pillow, blanket, etc.), shower gear (body wash, soap, towel, etc.), light athletic clothing that you can move in easily, and any rehearsal needs.
Airport & Ground Transportation
For this event, Bluecoats provides ground transportation to and from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). We are not able to service Dallas Love Field (DAL). You are welcome to book travel into DAL, but you’ll responsible for getting yourself to and from camp (carpool with someone who’s local, booking a ride sharing service).
If you are flying and would like to request ground transportation, you must submit your flight information no later than Tuesday, Mar 5th at 11:59p Eastern. You will receive an email with shuttle information on the Thursday before camp.
Please plan to book your travel using the following guidelines:
Friday, Mar 8 (arriving): arrive before 8:30p
Sunday, Mar 10 (departing): depart after 5:00p
We recommend arriving no later than 8:30p on Friday and 9:30a on Saturday. Please book travel for after 5:00p on Sunday.
If your flight arrives or departs outside of these times, we may not be able to offer a shuttle service for you, and you will be responsible for your own transportation.
You only need to fill out the transportation form below if you’re requesting a shuttle from Bluecoats.
