Trevor Braselton
Brass Instructor

Trevor Braselton returns to the Bluecoats in 2010 for his fifth year as a brass instructor. His previous drum corps experience includes two summers as a member of the Crossmen brass team (2004-05) and three years with Revolution as the Brass Caption Head (2001-2003). He is also a former marching member of the Cavaliers.

Trevor is assistant director of bands in Dickinson ISD. Prior to teaching in Dickinson, Mr. Braselton was an assistant in Pearland ISD (2001-2006). He is a 1996 graduate of Dickinson High School. He currently holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and recently completed his Masters of Music in Conducting from the University of Houston where he studied under Tom Bennett, David Bertman, Eddie Green, John Benzer, and many other outstanding educators.

His ensembles have received several awards in competition, most recently the Dickinson H.S. Marching Band placed 3rd at the Texas State Marching Contest.

Mr. Braselton's professional affiliations include; TMEA, TBA, TFT, and NFT. He was selected as Who's Who five times. He currently resides in the Houston area.
