Jennifer Permer
Guard Instructor

Jennifer Permer resides in Southern California and is the Manager of Feature Production Services at Universal Studios in Hollywood.  Some of her biggest projects include Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, & 3, Transformers, National Treasure 1 & 2, Tropic Thunder, Live Free or Die Hard & Couples Retreat.  Some of her television credits include five seasons of Crossing Jordan and five seasons of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Las Vegas). 

Jennifer’s drum corps career included Velvet Knights (1988 – 1989), Blue Devils (1990 – 1991) and the Cadets of Bergen County (1992 – 1993).  Her winterguard experiences consisted of The Kingsmen (1990 – 1991), Emerald Marquis (1992 – 1993) and Escapade (1994).

In addition to the 2009 Bluecoats, some of Jennifer’s teaching highlights include Mission Viejo High School (Mission Viejo, CA), Pope High School (Marietta, GA), Centergrove High School (Greenwood, IN) & The Spirit of JSU Drum and Bugle Corps.  Jennifer has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
