Kevin Shah is an active freelance percussionist and educator in Southern California specializing in orchestral percussion, marimba, marching percussion and composition. Kevin earned a B.A. in Music from UCLA and an M.M. in Percussion Performance from the Juilliard School. Kevin has performed in many venues around the world from New York’s Carnegie Hall to Sydney’s Opera House under world-class conductors such as James Levine and James Conlon.

 

Also experienced in marching percussion, Kevin was a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard, Pacific Crest, and Black Knights. Currently, he teaches and composes music for several high school marching percussion ensembles including WGI World Class Finalist Arcadia High School. Kevin also works with Unik Star Percussion Ensemble in France.
