Kathy has been involved in the pageantry activity for over 30 years.  This will be her second year with the BCCG.  Her instructional experience includes numerous years over 2 decades with the Santa Clara Vanguard working with both the Drum Corps and Winterguard, winning both DCI and WGI. Over the years she has worked with the San Francisco Renegades, Monta Vista High School, Live Oak High School and James Logan High School.    

Kathy’s performance career began at age 10.  At 12 she joined the Santa Clara Vanguard, beginning her record-setting 9 year membership in the “A” corps.    She has also performed with the Royal Sabres Winterguard and San Francisco Renegades Senior corps and Vanguard Alumni corps and Winterguard.

Kathy resides in Campbell, CA with her husband Jeff and 8 year-old son Derek.  She has an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University and is the Sr. Revenue Manager for Trimble Navigation in Sunnyvale, CA.
