Ryan was a marching member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in the summers of 2004 and 2005, and was on percussion staff with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps from Dubuque, Iowa. He was also a part of the WGI silver medalist ensembles at Rhythm X Indoor Percussion Ensemble in 2005 and 2006. In the spring of 2007, Ryan received his Music Education degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and is currently a band director in the Middletown City School District. This will be Ryan's second season with the Bluecoats, and fourth season on percussion staff with Rhythm X. He is also on the instructional staff for Centerville High School, working closely with both fall and winter season program.
