*IMPORTANT!*   If you can, please bring your own Bb marching brass instrument, or marching percussion instrument.  We will have access to the Bluecoats instruments and equipment, but there are a limited number of each available.

If you're coming from the southern United States , we invite you to attend our Texas Audition Camp on December 13-14!

Schedule

Camp begins Friday, January 16th at 8:00pm (registration is on Saturday morning)
Camp ends Sunday, January 18th at 3:00 p.m.

Housing is provided on both Friday and Saturday night.

Fees

Registration Fee - $75.00 (only if this is your first camp of the 2009 season.)

Camp Fee - $75.00

Camp fees cover cost of housing on Saturday night, instruction, meals, and use of equipment.

Attendance

Until a membership contract is signed, please contact caption heads with all attendance issues (including Friday Night rehearsals).

Note: It is only necessary to communicate attendance issues if you have already auditioned for the Bluecoats.

Transportation Instructions

Fly into Akron-Canton Regional Airport

Fly into Cleveland Hopkins Airport

IMPORTANT: The Hopkins Shuttle no longer operates service between the Cleveland Airport and the Akron-Canton Airport. The corps will be able to provide transportation at no charge to and from the Cleveland Airport, but only if you fly in before 8pm on Friday evening and depart after 5pm on Sunday. If you arrive any time after 8pm on Friday evening, or must leave earlier than 5pm on Sunday, than you can call Direct Executive Car Service at 440.479.1515 and ask for Jim Wilkes. Please keep in mind that this is an expensive option ($75 to $80 each way), so it would be advisable to find someone else to ride with you to share the cost of the ride.

Take a Greyhound Bus to the Canton Bus Station.

For transportation from the airport or bus station to the camp, please send an email with the following information to the Bluecoats at this address: transportation@bluecoats.com :

Failure to contact us before Thursday of the week of each camp means we CANNOT pick you up. Also, please note that we will not provide any transportation on the Friday before camp.
